How is Lucinda different from the standard pillowcase?
Lucinda has an Oxford border for a tailored finish. Our standard Mulberry Silk Pillowcase uses a hidden zip without the Oxford edge. Both use the same Grade 6A, 22 momme mulberry silk.
Are silk pillowcases good for your skin and hair?
Silk’s smooth surface creates less friction than cotton, which helps soften the look of overnight sleep creases and keep more skincare on your face, while hair often feels smoother by morning.
Is this real mulberry silk?
Yes. 100% mulberry silk at Grade 6A and 22 momme, OEKO TEX Standard 100 certified. Not a blend, not satin polyester.
Turn your pillowcase inside out and place it in a delicates bag. Machine wash on a cold, delicate cycle below 30°C using a pH-neutral detergent suitable for silk.
Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Dry flat away from direct heat and do not tumble dry. If needed, iron inside out on a low setting.
