Q: What is the difference between silk and satin scrunchies?

Silk is a fibre. Satin is a weave, and it can be silk or something else, including polyester. Ours are 100% mulberry silk around the elastic.

Q: What grade of silk does Silk Works use?

Grade 6A, 22 momme, 100% mulberry silk. Grade 6A is the highest grade, long fibre, the same silk as our pillowcases.

Our scrunchies use only the highest quality 6a long fibre, 100% mulberry silk with a 22 momme thickness, the same silky soft combination of durability, quality and shine as our pillowcases. Skinny or large?

Both are 6a, 22 momme, 100% mulberry silk. Choose a discreet skinny scrunchie, or a fuller large one, to suit your hair and the way you wear it.

The skinny is a discreet finish for finer hair, smaller ponytails, low buns and half-up styles. The large is a fuller silk finish for thicker hair, curls and loose buns, and a relaxed hold overnight.
